Founded in 2000, Milwaukee Academy of Science is a K4–12th grade independent charter school located in downtown Milwaukee, serving nearly 1,000 scholars. Our mission is to graduate students prepared to compete successfully at the post-secondary level.

  • Build Strong Partnerships: Communicate regularly with students, families, colleagues, and administration about student progress and needs.
  • Collaborate for Success: Work closely with classroom and resource teachers, student service personnel, administrators, and other school staff to develop effective student interventions.
  • Contribute to the School Community: Participate in curriculum development, data analysis, professional development planning, material selection, and school committees.
  • Keep Growing: Pursue professional development through staff training, coursework, and other opportunities that strengthen your practice.
  • Support the MAS Mission: Understand and embrace the educational philosophy of the school while maintaining high expectations for every scholar.
  • Make a Difference: Perform other duties as assigned by the Building Principal and other administrators.
