Concordia at SpiriTrust – Utz Terrace is seeking an energetic Activity Director to lead our activities team and create engaging experiences for the independent, personal care and skilled nursing residents.
Help residents stay connected, active and fulfilled through programs that support their social, physical, intellectual, recreational and spiritual needs.

What You’ll Do as an Activity Director:
Plan individual and group activities for a variety of interests and abilities.
Create weekly and monthly calendars, coordinate outings and help residents participate.
Lead activities staff through hiring, training, scheduling, coaching and recognition.
Manage supplies, expenses, volunteers and seasonal decorating.
Maintain activity records, attendance and required MDS documentation.
What You’ll Bring to the team as an Activity Director:
A caring, compassionate and energetic approach
Strong communication, organization and leadership skills
Computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Canva
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays for resident programs and special events
An associate degree in recreational therapy or a related field, two years of long-term care activities experience and activity certification or course completion are preferred.
Experience in music, art, drama or dance therapy is a plus.
