Abteilungsleiter-in Straßen- Landschaftsbau/ Roads Grounds Supervisor

Stellenbeschreibung 

Ist verantwortlich und weisungsbefugt in Absprache mit dem zuständigen technischen Betriebsleiter. 

Beaufsichtigt und ist verantwortlich für die ordnungsgemäße Bedienung und Wartung von Landschaftspflege-Maschinen, Geräte, Nutzfahrzeuge und sonstigen Baumaschinen 

Aufgaben und Verantwortlichkeiten: 

• Plant, terminiert und überwacht Wartungs-Instandhaltungs und Pflegearbeiten im Bereich Landschaftsbau, Wegebau, und Tiefbau. 

• Koordiniert und kontrolliert alle Arbeiten seiner Abteilung nach bestimmten Vorgaben und arbeitet selbst mit 

• Erstellt und überprüft Materialbestellungen 

• Überwacht die Arbeitssicherheit bei der Handhabung von Maschinen und Geräten. 

• Unterstützt bei Bedarf andere Gewerke bei deren Arbeitsaufgaben 

• Trägt zugewiesene Schutzkleidung und Ausrüstung 

• Befolgt Betriebliche Verfahrensweisen sowie DIN, EN, UVV, VDE und ISO Normen 

• Führt alle Betrieblich notwendigen Arbeitsdokumente 

• Nimmt Weiterbildungsmassnahmen im Interesse der Firma wahr 

• Arbeitet in den Werkstätten des Betriebes und an anderen Arbeitsorten des Projektes Kaiserslautern 

• Führt auf Weisung seines Vorgesetzten andere Tätigkeiten aus, die Betrieblich notwendig sind 

• Arbeitet überwiegend im Freien bei jeder Witterung. 

• Arbeitet im Bereich Winterdienst und wenn notwendig ist der Stelleninhaber 24/7 in Bereitschaft 

Ist vertraut im Umgang mit den gängigen Werkstoffen sowie Maschinen, Werkzeugen, Betriebs- und Arbeitsmitteln 

Jede/r Arbeitnehmer/in hat neben den in dieser Stellenbeschreibung aufgeführten Tätigkeiten auf Weisung ihres/seines Vorgesetzten andere Tätigkeiten auszuführen, die dem Wesen nach zu ihrem/seinem Arbeitsplatz gehören oder Betrieblich notwendig sind 

 

Erforderliche Qualifikationen: 

• Abgeschlossene Schulausbildung sowie mehrjährige Erfahrung im Bereich Straßen- Garten- und Landschaftsbau 

• Besitz eines gültigen Führerscheins Klasse B erforderlich 

• Muss geistig und körperlich geeignet sein, sämtliche Aufgaben zu erfüllen, insbesondere das Heben und Tragen von leichter und schwerer Gegenstände 

• Kenntnisse in Englisch und Deutsch erforderlich um Anweisungen verstehen und Dokumente ausfüllen zu können

Arbeitsumgebung, Körperliche Anforderungen und Geistige Anforderungen: 
Während der Ausführung der Tätigkeiten in dieser Position ist der/die Mitarbeiter/in häufig verpflichtet zu gehen; die Hände zum Greifen, Führen oder Tasten zu benutzen; mit den Händen und Armen zu greifen; zu sprechen oder zu hören sowie zu riechen oder zu schmecken. 
Erforderlich sind außerdem das Arbeiten auf Leitern, Gerüsten und Plattformen, Stehen, Bücken und Arbeiten in engen Bereichen; das Heben und Tragen von Werkzeugen und Ausrüstung, die gelegentlich mehr als 40 Pfund (ca. 18 kg) wiegen können. 
Zu den spezifischen Sehanforderungen gehören Nahsicht, Fernsicht, Farbsehen, peripheres Sehen sowie die Fähigkeit, den Fokus anzupassen. 
Während der Ausführung der Tätigkeiten ist der/die Mitarbeiter/in häufig beweglichen mechanischen Teilen ausgesetzt und gelegentlich nassen und/oder feuchten Bedingungen; großen Höhen; Dämpfen oder Partikeln in der Luft; giftigen oder ätzenden Chemikalien; Außenwetterbedingungen; extremer Kälte; extremer Hitze; sowie dem Risiko elektrischer Schläge. Der Geräuschpegel in der Arbeitsumgebung ist in der Regel moderat.

Job Description 

Is responsible and has authority to issue instructions in coordination with the responsible Technical Operations Manager. Supervises and is responsible for the proper operation and maintenance of landscaping machinery, equipment, utility vehicles and other construction equipment 

Job Responsibilities: 

• Plans, schedules and monitors maintenance, repair and upkeep work in landscaping, path construction and civil engineering. 

• Coordinates and controls all work of his department according to specified requirements and also performs work himself 

• Prepares and reviews material orders 

• Monitors occupational safety in the handling of machinery and equipment. 

• Supports other trades with their tasks as needed 

• Wears assigned protective clothing and equipment 

• Follows company procedures as well as DIN, EN, UVV, VDE and ISO standards 

• Maintains all operationally required work documents 

• Participates in further training in the interest of the company 

• Works in the company workshops and at other work locations of Project Kaiserslautern 

• Performs other operationally necessary tasks as directed by his supervisor 

• Works predominantly outdoors in all weather conditions. 

• Works in winter maintenance services and, when necessary, the incumbent is on 24/7 standby 

Is familiar with the handling of common materials as well as machinery, tools, operating equipment and work equipment 

In addition to the activities listed in this job description, every employee must perform, as directed by his/her supervisor, other activities that by their nature belong to his/her position or are operationally necessary 

Required Qualifications: 

• Completed schooling and several years of experience in road construction, gardening and landscaping 

• Possession of a valid Class B driver's license required 

• Must be mentally and physically fit to perform all tasks, in particular lifting and carrying light and heavy objects 

• Knowledge of English and German required to understand instructions and complete documents

While performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear; and taste or smell.  Requires climbing on ladders, scaffolding, and platforms standing, bending, and working in cramped areas; lifting and carrying tools and equipment which occasionally may weigh over 40 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts.  The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions; extreme cold; extreme heat; risk and risk of electrical shock.  The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
