Hiring Range: $85.00 to $91.00
Actual pay depends on specialty, experience, and performance
Riverside Medical Group is currently seeking a Full-Time Advanced Practice Provider to join our Emergency Medicine team in Newport News, Virginia
Advanced practice providers will work in collaboration with physicians in caring for a wide range of emergency patients of all ages in multiple care settings. Opportunities are available to participate in medical education, clinical projects and on various committees.

- 14 treatment rooms
- Trauma and resuscitation room
- Additional treatment spaces

Riverside Regional Medical Center | Newport News
A 500+ bed Level II Trauma Center serving more than 78,000 emergency patients annually.
Highlights include:
- Comprehensive Stroke Center (DNV Certified)
- Accredited Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI Accreditation
- More than 40 private patient care rooms
- Two state-of-the-art trauma/resuscitation rooms
- 10-bed Observation Unit
- Extensive specialty support services
Riverside Doctors' Hospital Williamsburg
A state-of-the-art 40-bed hospital with a 12-bed Emergency Department serving more than 25,000 patients annually.
Highlights include:
- First Emergency Department in Virginia to receive the American College of Emergency Physicians Geriatric Emergency Department Accreditation
- DNV Certified Primary Stroke Center
Riverside Walter Reed Hospital | Gloucester
A 67-bed hospital with an 11-bed Emergency Department serving more than 25,000 patients annually.
Highlights include:
- DNV Accredited Primary Stroke Center
- American College of Cardiology Certified Chest Pain Center
Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital
Located on Virginia's beautiful Eastern Shore, this modern 40-bed hospital includes a 12-bed Emergency Department serving more than 25,000 patients annually.
Highlights include:
- DNV Accredited Primary Stroke Center
Education
- Nurse Practitioner- master’s in nursing
- Nurse Practitioner License State of Virginia
- Nurse Practitioner Certification
- Physician Assistant - master’s degree
- Physician Assistant License State of Virginia
Required
- Have a current, valid state of Virginia medical license or be eligible for one
- Have a valid DEA controlled substance registration
