About the Role

Are you looking to lead meaningful, community-focused programming for young people? Our 21st Century grant-funded after school program focuses on deeply supportive and enriching environments with energizing small group dynamics.

As the Site Co-Coordinator for the West Springfield High School program, you will focus on supporting students and staff during program hours, establishing positive routines, managing daily attendance, and maintaining a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment. Working closely with the Administrative Co-Coordinator, you will work collaboratively to design developmentally rich enrichment opportunities for high school students that are relevant, real-world and interactive.

What You’ll Do

As the Site Co-Coordinator, you will oversee daily on-site programming for the after school program at West Springfield High School, providing daily guidance and support to program staff. You will work in close collaboration and coordination with the Administrative Co-Coordinator to:

  • Build & Inspire a Strong Team: Recruit, hire, and mentor dedicated staff and volunteers; cultivate strong team spirit through reflective, collaborative meetings.
  • Guide Student Success: Design engaging, inclusive enrichment activities aligned with statewide educational visions to engage student’s curiosity and creativity, while providing opportunities for connection and empowerment.
  • Strengthen Community Partnerships: Maintain open communication with families, school leadership, local districts, and other partners to align our shared mission.
  • Drive Continuous Quality: Oversee day-to-day site operations, conduct supportive program observations, gather student feedback, and maintain accurate attendance and grant records. Align all programming with DESE's educational vision in order to meet 21st CCLC grant requirements.
  • Resource Management: Monitor the program budget thoughtfully to ensure resources directly impact the student experience and meet grant requirements.

Qualifications

We are looking for a collaborative, student-centered leader who brings strong communication and organizational skills, someone who fosters empathy, and demonstrates a commitment to creating an environment where all students can thrive. You excel at building positive relationships with high school students, staff, and families, and you shine in an active, team-oriented school environment.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Licensure: None required.
  • Expertise: Experience working with youth in educational or youth development settings; strong leadership, organizational and communication skills; and proficiency in Google Workspace.
