Heidelberg Materials Australia is seeking a reliable and safety-focused HR Truck Driver to join our team at Axedale Quarry.
In this role, you'll be responsible for safely delivering quarry products to customers across the region while operating and maintaining HR vehicles to the highest safety and compliance standards. About the Role
Reporting to the Quarry Manager, you will:
- Safely operate HR tipper trucks
- Deliver quarry products to customer sites across Victoria and surrounding regions
- Conduct daily pre-start inspections and basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Load, transport and unload quarry materials safely and efficiently
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and records
- Provide excellent customer service to customers and site personnel
- Adhere to Chain of Responsibility (CoR), fatigue management and road transport regulations
- Maintain Heidelberg Materials' high standards of safety, compliance and professionalism
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A current Heavy Rigid (HR) Licence
- A strong commitment to safety and compliance
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- A positive attitude and reliable work ethic
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous experience operating heavy vehicles in a transport, quarrying, construction, or related environment
