About the role
Service Manager
Berger Communities is seeking a Multi-Site Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations across five communities in West Chester, PA: Audubon Manor, Audubon Pointe, Chestnut Street Lofts, Market Street Flats, and The Greentree Building, totaling 371 units. We’re looking for a hands-on leader who takes pride in their work, supports their team, and is committed to delivering exceptional service every day.
Pay & Benefits
- $68,000/annually, paid biweekly, plus:

What You’ll Do
You’ll be the go-to person for keeping our apartment community running smoothly. That means:
- Lead day-to-day maintenance operations across five West Chester communities.
- Supervise, coach, and develop service technicians while providing hands-on support when needed.
- Ensure service requests are completed promptly and to a high standard.
- Oversee apartment turnovers, from scheduling through final inspection.
- Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance, carpentry, and other maintenance issues.
- Manage preventative maintenance programs and regularly inspect grounds, amenities, and common areas.
- Monitor maintenance expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and coordinate with vendors.
- Recommend capital improvements that support safety, property preservation, and the resident experience.
- Oversee snow removal efforts and ensure each property remains safe and free of hazards.
