We are currently looking for 1 Application Engineer to join our Downstream Division in the Novara area (Italy).

What You Will Do

With the support of an experienced mentor, you will:

• Provide technical support at customer sites, identifying and resolving issues and escalating them when necessary.
• Analyze systems and operational data, identify root causes of performance issues, and prepare written recommendations to optimize customer plant performance.
• Support activities including:
  • Sample analysis and testing
  • Basic preventive maintenance
  • Customer service and technical support
  • Service report preparation
  • Chemical product order management
  • Chemical inventory management
  • General operational activities
• Actively promote Nalco Water and Nalco Champion technologies and innovations to strategic customers within the assigned district, supporting District Sales Representatives.
• Travel within the assigned territory to support customer operations.
• Coordinate technical activities and contribute to the resolution of operational and technical challenges.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Excellent command of English and native-level Italian.
• Valid driver's license.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset.

Compensation Range:

The starting salary for this position is €32.574
