We are looking for an Art Teacher for an international bilingual school in Xiamen, teaching kindergarten, primary and middle school students. This position is available from February 2027

Job Responsibilities
- Teach art to kindergarten, primary and middle school students, adapting lessons to different ages and abilities
- Plan engaging lessons that develop creativity, artistic expression and practical skills
- Introduce students to a range of artistic techniques and materials, including drawing, painting and sculpture
- Develop students’ understanding of art through exploring artists, cultures and visual traditions
- Organize displays and exhibitions to celebrate students’ artwork
- Design assessments, monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and school activities
- Maintain clear communication with parents and caregivers
- Create a safe, supportive learning environment that encourages creative exploration
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Art Education or a related field, with a background in fine arts required
- Valid teaching certification or license
- At least two years of classroom teaching experience, including prior teaching experience in China
- Currently residing in China
- Familiarity with the IB curriculum is advantageous

- Monthly salary of RMB 22,000–25,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications
