Assistant Campus Pastor

Alive Church is looking for a passionate, relational, and spiritually mature Assistant Campus Pastor to help lead a healthy, growing campus that loves God, loves people, and loves life.

This role works alongside the Campus Pastor to lead weekend and midweek experiences, provide pastoral care, develop Dream Team volunteers, and help guests take their next steps. The ideal candidate has a shepherd’s heart, a strong sense of calling, and a desire to grow as a campus leader while carrying the vision and culture of Alive Church.

Key Responsibilities
· Support the Campus Pastor in leading weekend and midweek worship experiences.
· Provide pastoral care through prayer, hospital visits, counseling, and follow-up.
· Recruit, train, and lead Dream Team volunteers and leaders.
· Connect guests and members to Growth Track, Alive Groups, and next steps.
· Help build a culture of hospitality, discipleship, and community at the campus.
· Preach, host, or lead services as needed.
· Partner with campus and central ministry teams on events, outreach, and initiatives.
· Help carry out the vision, values, and culture of Alive Church at the campus level.

Qualifications
· A growing, personal relationship with Jesus and a clear calling to pastoral ministry.
· Experience in ministry leadership, either on staff or as a volunteer.
· Ability to lead, develop, and care for volunteers and teams.
· Strong communication, relational, and public speaking skills.
· Spiritually mature, teachable, dependable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
· Alignment with Alive Church’s beliefs, vision, and culture.

Preferred: Ministry training or Bible college (Alive College or ALI a plus), or prior campus ministry experience.

This is a full-time, in-person position based in Tampa, Florida. Some evenings, weekends, and special events may be required.
