You'll work alongside the Community Manager on leasing, rent collection, resident relations, and financial reporting, and build the skills to run a property of your own. The role includes a zero-cost employee medical plan, a 401(k) match, and an employee housing discount.
You're the reason it all runs smoothly.
You keep the details straight: accounts current, residents heard, move-ins seamless. If you want to learn multifamily property management end to end and grow into leadership, we want to meet you.
What you'll own
- Welcome prospects, answer questions, give tours, and verify eligibility as their first point of contact
- Close leases and hit community goals for occupancy, renewals, and turn times, with a rental closing ratio of at least 35%
- Process applications, renewals, notices to vacate, move-ins and move-outs, transfers, roommate changes, and service requests
- Coordinate move-ins and move-outs, including inspections, documentation, and deposit accounting
- Build strong resident relations by addressing concerns and driving retention
- Manage resident communication channels and keep CRM, resident, and vendor records accurate
- Complete monthly market surveys, track local trends, and recommend competitive pricing to the Community Manager
- Assist with invoices, occupancy and delinquency tracking, and monthly and annual financial reporting
- Keep resident files and CRM records accurate
- Drive community goals for occupancy, renewals, turn times, and a rental closing ratio of at least 35%
- Support marketing initiatives and flag local outreach opportunities
- Help plan and host resident events
- Follow Fair Housing laws, safety procedures, and company policy
What you bring
- High school diploma or GED
- 1+ years of leasing or assistant property management experience, ideally within a luxury urban development
- Strong numerical aptitude for balancing financial accounts, customer-centric hospitality skills, and the physical capacity to walk a large multi-floor building for inspections.
- Proficiency in core property management platforms like Yardi Voyager, RentCafe, Appwork, or similar CRM tools.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint)
- Working knowledge of property management laws and regulations
- A real customer-service mindset and strong communication skills
- A desire to lead, on your team and in your community
A leg up if you have
- 2+ years of sales or leasing experience
Pay and benefits
- $25-$28 per hour per hour, based on experience, skills, and qualifications
- Medical (including a zero-cost employee plan), dental, and vision
- 401(k) with employer match
- Paid time off plus 9 paid holidays
- Paid maternity and parental leave
- Employee housing discount and cell phone stipend
- Company-paid life insurance, plus short- and long-term disability options
- Mental wellness program and Perks at Work discounts
- Professional development support, peer recognition, and years-of-service awards
