Assistant Manager-KDNI

The Assistant Manager will bring 6+ years of experience in Master Data Management (MDM), Data Governance, and Data Quality, with strong hands-on expertise in Informatica MDM, including data modeling, match & merge, hierarchies, workflows, and master data stewardship. The role involves leading end-to-end MDM solution delivery, implementing governance and data quality frameworks, collaborating with business and technology stakeholders, and driving the creation of trusted, enterprise-wide master data assets to support operational and analytical processes.

1. MDM Solution Delivery

• Support the definition and execution of Master Data Management (MDM) initiatives aligned with business objectives.

  • Design, develop, and maintain master data models and MDM solutions using Informatica MDM.

  • Participate in master data strategy discussions and recommend best practices for data management.

2. Project Execution & Coordination

• Lead specific workstreams and support end-to-end delivery of MDM projects.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, data architects, developers, and data stewards to gather and translate requirements into scalable MDM solutions.

• Ensure timely delivery of project milestones, issue resolution, and risk management.

3. Technical Leadership

• Configure, implement, and optimize Informatica MDM components, including data models, match and merge rules, hierarchies, and workflows.

• Provide technical guidance on data integration, data quality, and MDM best practices.

• Support performance tuning, troubleshooting, and platform optimization activities.

4. Data Governance & Data Quality

• Support the implementation of data governance policies, standards, and controls.

  • Work closely with data stewards and business users to improve data quality and consistency.

  • Assist in defining data quality rules, data validation processes, and stewardship workflows.

• 5. Stakeholder Management

  • Partner with business and technology teams to understand master data requirements and drive solution adoption.

  • Communicate project status, risks, dependencies, and progress updates to stakeholders.

  • Facilitate workshops and requirement-gathering sessions with cross-functional teams.

• 6. Team Collaboration & Mentoring

  • Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on Informatica MDM development and support activities.

  • Contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives, documentation, and best practice development.

  • Support resource planning and assist managers in delivery and team development activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

  • 6+ years of experience in Master Data Management, with hands-on experience in Informatica MDM implementation and support.

  • Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, data integration, and reference/master data management concepts.

  • Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, data warehousing, and enterprise data management solutions.

  • Hands-on experience with Informatica MDM Hub, Match & Merge, Hierarchies, Workflows, and Data Director.

  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.

  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills.

  • Experience working in Agile and cross-functional delivery environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Informatica MDM Developer or Specialist Certification.

  • Experience with cloud data platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.

  • Familiarity with Informatica Data Quality (IDQ), Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS), or related Informatica products.

  • Knowledge of enterprise data governance frameworks and metadata management solutions.

  • Exposure to modern data platforms, data lakes, and cloud-native data integration architectures.
