In 2015, we pioneered a “moneyball for biotech” approach, pooling projects and promising early-stage research from academia together under one financial umbrella to reduce risk and unleash innovation. This model allows science and small teams of experts to lead the way. We build bridges to groundbreaking advancements in rare disease, and develop life-changing medicines for patients with unmet needs as fast as humanly possible.
Together we define white space, push boundaries, and empower people to solve problems. If you're someone who defies convention, join us and work alongside some of the most respected minds in the industry. Together, we'll ask "why not?" and help reengineer the future of biopharma. At BridgeBio, we value curiosity and experimentation—including the ethical & thoughtful use of AI to improve clarity, speed, and quality of work.

What You'll Do
The Operations Leader turns the POSI strategy into services that run on time, on audit-ready controls, and against measured baselines. BridgeBio is launching three therapies, and the People function has to run as a fully utilized Workday organization while the team is still being built.
This role owns the operating model behind that: portfolio delivery, service delivery, Workday operations, vendor performance, and compliance controls, with AI enablement built into each.
Responsibilities
Portfolio and operating cadence
-
Run delivery of the portfolio across the COEs: owners, dates, dependencies, status, and tradeoffs for new work
-
Operate the weekly outcome review, action register, and exceptions log; escalate with the decision needed
-
Hold readiness gates for fixed-date events: payroll cutover, Open Enrollment, EOY cycle, and Workday releases
Workday operations
-
Own day-to-day Workday operations: business processes, security roles, reporting, and the release cycle (impact assessment, regression testing, sign-off)
-
Run the defect and enhancement backlog with the AMS partner; prioritize by risk and outcome
-
Maintain integration health with ADP, Greenhouse, and other downstream systems
Service delivery
-
Own People service operations on ServiceNow HRSD and Maverick: omni-channel intake, case routing, Tier 1/2 automation, and the knowledge base
-
Define the human role per process as agents take on volume
-
Report deflection, cycle time, and hours returned against baselines
Controls and compliance
-
Own the SOX-facing control story for People operations: Workday and ADP change control, payroll validation tables, and evidence retention
-
Run compliance operations: EEO-1, ACA, pay transparency, personnel records, I-9, and policy governance
-
Partner with IT, Finance, and Internal Audit on segregation-of-duties reviews and control exceptions
Vendor and partner performance
-
Manage service levels and delivery with the Workday AMS partner, ADP, the contingent workforce provider, and the immigration provider
-
Run business reviews with scorecards; own renewal input and escalations
Measurement and governance
-
Capture baselines before any value claim; track cost per outcome and control exceptions
-
Operate the agent registry and access standard with the Senior Director and IT: agents run as the user, every call logged, no autonomous production changes
Team
-
Lead and develop operations specialists and analysts; set clear ownership and coverage across onboarding, offboarding, and People@ service
Where You'll Work
Required
- 8+ years in HR operations, HR technology, or business operations, with 3+ years leading teams or programs
- Hands-on Workday HCM experience across business processes, security, and reporting
- Operated SOX or ITGC controls in an HR or payroll context, including change control and audit evidence
- Delivered multi-system programs with fixed-date gates (payroll, benefits enrollment, or performance cycles)
- Managed vendor delivery against service levels and scorecards
- Defines baselines and reports outcomes in measures an auditor can verify
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Preferred
- Experience with ServiceNow HRSD or an equivalent case-management platform, and an AI-enabled employee front door
- Payroll operations experience, including ADP or a comparable provider, and semi-monthly cutovers
- Contingent workforce, immigration, or co-employment compliance exposure
- Experience in biotech, pharma, or another regulated, fast-scaling environment
- Practical fluency in agent governance: identity, access, logging, and human-review rules
