Bartender

Colony West Golf Club, located in Tamarac, Florida is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Part-Time Bartender! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. • Customer Service:

  • Greet and serve customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Take drink orders and provide recommendations based on customer preferences.
  • Ensure timely and accurate service to enhance the overall customer experience.
• Beverage Preparation:

  • Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and soft drinks.
  • Adhere to recipes and maintain high standards of quality in beverage preparation.
  • Monitor and replenish bar supplies to meet customer demand.
• Cash Handling
  • Handle cash and process transactions accurately using the POS (Point of Sale) system.
  • Provide customers with correct change and maintain a secure cash drawer.

• Keep the bar area clean, organized, and well-stocked.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations regarding food and beverage handling.

• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage service.
• Communicate effectively with other team members to ensure smooth operations.

• Engage with customers, build rapport, and create a welcoming atmosphere.
• Proactively address customer concerns and provide solutions when necessary.

• Promote specials, events, and promotions to encourage upselling and increase revenue.
• Maintain knowledge of current promotions and menu offerings.

• Follow established policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Uphold legal and ethical standards related to the service of alcoholic beverages.

• Previous bartending experience, preferably in a golf course or hospitality setting.
• Strong knowledge of mixology and beverage service.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to food and beverage service.
