About the role
Job Responsibilities:
Operates various mechanized cleaning equipment, such as vacuums, polishers, buffers, mowers, weed eaters, power washers and other equipment as assigned.
Maintains facility in a sanitary and infection-free condition through washing, cleaning, and replacement of equipment and furnishings, along with keeping the outside of the facility mowed on a weekly basis. This will also include landscape, weeding, snow removal.
Disposes of trash, waste, and other disposable materials
Handles various cleaning solvents, chemicals, etc. Must comply with all regulations such as OSHA, EPA, State Health Department, etc.
Dusts furniture, light fixtures, windowsills, etc.
Empties trash containers daily
Wet mops floors in all patient and staff rooms daily. Damp mops all corridor floors, lobby, and others daily.
Cleans wash basins, mirrors, and commodes daily.
Reports any needed repairs immediately to the manager.
Washes windows as scheduled.
Strips and recoats all floor areas when necessary and as scheduled.
Performs other duties as assigned or requested.
Moving boxes, desks, and other furniture as assigned.
