Description
Budget Avis Car and Truck Rental of Utah is looking for a reliable, customer-oriented team member to support our Murray and Salt Lake City rental operations.
This position combines customer service, sales, administrative tasks, and vehicle coordination. You'll assist customers with rental needs, explain vehicle and protection options, process contracts and payments, and work with our fleet team to support daily operations.
No car rental experience is necessary. Paid training is provided!
Job Responsibilities
- Help customers with rental reservations, vehicle pickups, returns, extensions, and exchanges.
- Recommend vehicles, upgrades, and optional protection products.
- Prepare rental contracts, process payments, and maintain accurate records.
- Assist customers with insurance replacement rentals and business accounts.
- Answer questions and resolve routine customer concerns.
- Update customer, reservation, and vehicle information in company systems.
- Check vehicle mileage, fuel, and condition during rental transactions.
- Coordinate with fleet personnel regarding vehicle availability and readiness.
- Assist with general branch operations and maintain an organized work environment.

Experience in retail, sales, hospitality, banking, automotive services, or customer support is beneficial but not required.
Employment is contingent upon successfully completing applicable background and drug screening requirements.

Requirements
- At least 18 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving history
- No more than two moving violations or at-fault accidents within the past three years
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Available to work weekends
- Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills
- Comfortable with sales, computer work, and handling financial transactions
- Dependable, professional, and willing to learn
