Carpenter

Skillforce is seeking skilled Carpenters with a minimum of 3 years of carpentry experience to install decorative aluminum column covers, also known as post wraps or pillar wraps, on commercial buildings. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on construction skills, experience with accurate measuring and cutting, attention to detail, and the ability to complete installations safely and professionally. Experience installing aluminum column covers or similar architectural trim systems is preferred.

Pay: $30+, depending on experience

Shift: 1st shift. 1-week project, working 6 days, 10 hours each day

Carpenter Responsibilities

• Install decorative aluminum column covers, post wraps, and pillar wraps on commercial buildings.
• Measure, cut, fit, and secure materials according to project specifications.
• Ensure columns are properly aligned, level, secure, and finished to professional standards.
• Read and follow installation instructions, measurements, and project plans.
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all job-site safety requirements and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Work independently and collaborate with other crew members to meet project deadlines.

Carpenter Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of professional carpentry experience.
• Demonstrated ability to measure, cut, fit, and install construction materials accurately.
• Must provide your own tools necessary to perform the work.
• Must provide and wear your own required PPE.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
• Ability to work on a commercial construction site and follow safety procedures.
• Ability to perform physical construction work, including standing, bending, lifting, and working at heights when required.
