Job Description

Skillforce is currently hiring an experienced Concrete Carpenter for a short-term project in Bowling Green, KY. The ideal candidate will have experience setting slab edge forms for concrete pads and be comfortable working in an active construction environment.

Responsibilities

• Set, align, and secure slab edge forms for concrete pads.

• Measure and lay out formwork according to project specifications.

• Ensure forms are properly positioned, level, and secured before concrete placement.

• Use hand tools and power tools to assemble, adjust, and dismantle forms as needed.

• Follow construction plans, safety procedures, and job site requirements.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a concrete carpenter or in concrete formwork.

• Experience setting slab edge forms is preferred.

• Ability to read measurements and follow layout instructions.

• Proficiency with basic construction hand tools and power tools.

• Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting, bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.

• Reliable transportation to the job site in Bowling Green, KY.
