CDL-A Regional Truck Driver

House-Hasson Hardware is hiring dependable, safety-focused CDL-A Regional Truck Drivers. This position offers established regional routes, consistent freight, and a schedule you can plan around. Drivers are typically home two days during the week and most weekends for their 34-hour reset. Overnight routes include company-paid hotel accommodations and meal per diem, so you are not expected to sleep in the truck.

This is a driver-assist delivery position transporting hardware and building materials to independent hardware stores. Drivers operate automatic 48- to 53-foot dry vans and help unload products at scheduled stops.

Responsibilities

• Run assigned regional routes and complete scheduled customer deliveries.
• Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle in accordance with DOT regulations and company policies.
• Load, unload, and properly secure products.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections.
• Maintain accurate driver logs, delivery records, and required documentation.
• Follow assigned routes and use GPS navigation when needed.
• Report mechanical issues, delays, or safety concerns promptly.
• Provide professional and courteous service at each customer location.
• Complete brokerage runs when needed to support operations.
• Work safely and responsibly while meeting delivery schedules.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
• Current DOT medical card.
• Clean driving record.
• Regional or over-the-road driving experience preferred.
• Ability to pass DOT drug and alcohol screening.
• Comfortable traveling overnight, typically three to four nights per week.
• Ability to load and unload products at scheduled stops.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to sit and drive for extended periods.
• Strong reliability, professionalism, and work ethic.
• Commitment to safe driving and dependable customer service.

Compensation & Benefits

• Average weekly pay of $1,500 to $1,600
