About the role
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a CEO / Co-founder based in Netherlands.
As CEO / Co-founder, you will lead the creation and development of a new international B2B real-money gaming provider, transforming an investment-backed business opportunity into a commercially successful and revenue-generating venture. You will take full ownership of the company's strategic direction, market positioning, financial performance, leadership team, and commercial expansion. Working closely with investors and the Board, you will define the business model, identify priority markets, build strategic partnerships, and establish a scalable game production and distribution operation. You will oversee the entire journey from initial game development and certification to operator integration, market launches, and revenue generation. Combining entrepreneurial vision with hands-on operational leadership, you will make critical product portfolio and investment decisions while driving sustainable growth. This is a unique opportunity to build a business from the ground up, backed by experienced technology entrepreneurs, with significant autonomy and the potential to participate directly in its long-term success.
Accountabilities:
- Define and execute the overall business strategy, developing an evidence-based market thesis covering priority geographical markets, target customers, competitive positioning, portfolio strategy, and distribution channels.
- Build and lead the operational structure of a new B2B real-money gaming provider, establishing the organizational model, leadership team, production capabilities, and processes required for successful market entry and future growth.
- Identify market opportunities and evaluate operator performance, competing providers, game categories, and player preferences to determine where the business can establish a competitive advantage.
- Develop and manage the game production and release roadmap, establishing clear quality standards, production milestones, and operational capabilities to meet agreed annual release targets.
- Oversee the launch of initial game titles, coordinating production, certification, technical integrations, operator onboarding, commercialization, and monetization.
- Build and manage a strong commercial pipeline of casino operators, aggregators, platform providers, and strategic distribution partners.
- Lead the complete commercial lifecycle, from prospect identification and contract negotiations through technical integration, live launches, promotional support, and revenue generation.
- Secure meaningful game visibility, lobby placements, promotional opportunities, and commercial commitments from operators to maximize distribution and portfolio performance.
- Take full ownership of the company's P&L, financial planning, cash management, forecasting, and unit economics across individual games, operators, geographical markets, and distribution channels.
- Work closely with the Board to evaluate organizational requirements, recommend leadership and structural changes, and implement agreed strategic decisions.
- Establish comprehensive management reporting and performance dashboards, ensuring consistent tracking of production delivery, distribution, player activity, revenue, and operational reliability.
- Identify and implement AI-powered solutions that measurably improve production efficiency, reduce operational costs, and increase output without compromising quality, compliance, or creative originality.
- Build, motivate, and develop a high-performing leadership team, establishing clear responsibilities, management routines, and a culture of accountability and commercial execution.
- Maintain close relationships with investors, operators, aggregators, and other industry stakeholders to support business development and long-term strategic growth.
- Direct senior leadership experience within a B2B real-money gaming provider, specifically in slots, instant games, or crash games. Experience exclusively within casino operators, platforms, affiliate businesses, payment providers, or general B2C products will not be considered a substitute for provider-side experience.
- Proven track record of building a B2B gaming provider from the ground up or significantly scaling an existing provider, game portfolio, or commercial distribution operation.
- An established professional network of casino operators, aggregators, and platform partners, supported by tangible evidence of successful game launches, live integrations, and revenue-generating commercial relationships.
- Previous P&L ownership or equivalent executive-level responsibility for overall business performance, financial results, and commercial operations.
- Strong understanding of the B2B real-money gaming ecosystem, including game production, distribution models, operator relationships, monetization, and portfolio economics.
- Excellent product-market judgment, with the ability to identify which games and providers perform best in specific geographical markets and understand how game mechanics and mathematical models influence commercial outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to translate market intelligence and performance data into effective portfolio strategies, investment decisions, and product positioning.
- Hands-on leadership experience, with concrete examples of personally identifying and resolving operational, commercial, production, or organizational bottlenecks.
- Proven experience recruiting, developing, and managing effective leadership teams and establishing scalable management processes.
- Strong commercial negotiation, strategic planning, financial management, and business development capabilities.
- Ability to work closely with investors and Board members, communicate strategic priorities, and translate business objectives into measurable operational results.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, resilience, and the ability to navigate uncertainty while building a business in a competitive and evolving industry.
- A career history demonstrating the commitment, experience, and strategic vision required to lead a multi-year business-building initiative.
- A current or former CEO or Co-founder of a B2B real-money gaming provider.
- Alternatively, a Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) or Chief Operating Officer (COO) from a gaming provider with genuine P&L ownership, cross-functional leadership experience, and a proven record of developing the business and its distribution network.
- Experience leading a successful provider organization of approximately 20–30 employees, particularly where the team has developed, launched, and monetized a strong game portfolio.
- The ability to bring an established and proven core team may also be considered an advantage.
- Competitive compensation: Flexible and individually tailored remuneration package based on experience, qualifications, and demonstrated business-building achievements.
- Performance-based incentives: Opportunity to participate in performance-related compensation arrangements linked to business results.
- Equity participation: Potential equity or profit-sharing arrangements, to be discussed as part of an individualized compensation package.
- Entrepreneurial ownership: Lead the creation and development of a new international B2B real-money gaming business from its earliest stages.
- Experienced investment backing: Work alongside established technology entrepreneurs with a proven track record of building and scaling international businesses.
- Strategic autonomy: Take ownership of the company's market strategy, operating model, game portfolio, commercial partnerships, and organizational development.
- Board-level collaboration: Work directly with investors and the Board, influencing major strategic decisions and the long-term direction of the business.
- Remote-first flexibility: Fully remote working arrangements, with Europe preferred.
- International exposure: Opportunities to develop relationships with global operators, aggregators, platform providers, and strategic partners, with international travel required as needed.
- Long-term growth opportunity: Build and scale a new venture with the potential to create substantial commercial value and participate in its future success.
