WHAT IS ON OFFER

 
Alfred H Knight has two exciting opportunities for dedicated Cleaners to join our facilities team across our Knowsley and St Helens sites:      

   

•  Villiers Road (Knowsley): Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM  

• Lea Green (St Helens): Monday to Friday, 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM

In these essential roles, you will be a vital cog in our daily operations—keeping our modern facilities, canteens, and specialist laboratories running safely, hygienically, and to the highest standard. From general site cleaning to supporting laboratory hygiene standards, your work directly supports our operational teams and helps create a healthier, safer working environment.

To be successful at Alfred H Knight you will need to display the following:

 
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND WORK EXPERIENCE 

 
Essential

• High degree of self-motivation and the ability to manage time and tasks effectively.
• Meticulous approach to work to ensure high cleaning standards across offices and laboratories.
• Fundamental understanding and practical application of COSHH regulations.
• Flexibility and willingness to adapt to varying demands, shifts, and occasional rotation across North-West sites to cover absence.

Required Competencies

• Proactive initiative to identify cleaning needs.
• Strong team player mindset.
• Strict commitment to safety, COSHH, and health and safety policies.
  

Required Work Experience

• Previous cleaning experience across diverse business environments, including offices and laboratories.

Required Qualifications

• UK Driving Licence (Desirable).
  

Required Languages

• English
