In this Senior Cloud Solution Architect position, you will partner with customers across Central Europe and Asia in the Customer Success Unit to shape how they build and run intelligent applications and agents on Microsoft Cloud.

As a Cloud Solution Architect, you’ll play an instrumental role in helping customers migrate, modernize and transform their architecture and applications, laying the groundwork for world-class, scalable, production-ready AI solutions.

You’ll be a trusted advisor, working directly with customer IT and business leaders to shape their transformation strategy, architect secure and scalable solutions, and deliver measurable business impact. From designing roadmaps to leading Proof of Concepts and MVPs, you’ll help customers build and run intelligent applications and AI agents at scale. Your expertise will guide customers through critical milestones, leveraging proven IP and delivery engines to accelerate adoption and unlock value.

In this role, you will guide customers from concept to production, taking AI applications and agents from early prototype to enterprise‑grade deployment using platforms such as Microsoft Foundry, GitHub Copilot, and Copilot Studio. You will set the technical direction for these engagements, lead roadmap design, and orchestrate virtual teams that span markets, cultures, and business environments. You will also mentor others by sharing patterns, reusable architectures, and delivery practices that accelerate value realization across multiple customers and regions.

Responsibilities

Lead strategic architecture engagements with enterprise customers to design and deliver secure, resilient, and cost‑optimized cloud solutions that accelerate their transformation, value realization, and adoption of Microsoft Cloud and AI.
Translate complex customer challenges into industry‑aligned solutions and roadmaps, using proof of concepts, minimum viable products, and rapid prototypes to demonstrate business impact and inform long‑term architectures.
Orchestrate and mentor virtual teams across Microsoft and partner organizations, driving operational excellence, managing technical and business risks, and ensuring a seamless, connected customer experience across markets and cultures.
Act as a trusted advisor to technical and business decision makers up to C‑suite level, aligning security, compliance, and operational requirements with architecture decisions and guiding customers through critical milestones in their cloud and AI journey.
Drive technical excellence by leading the health, resiliency, security, and optimization of mission-critical application and AI workloads, ensuring readiness for production-scale AI use cases.
Capture and share patterns, feedback, and technical insights across customers and internal communities to improve offerings, influence product roadmaps, and scale repeatable solutions for intelligent applications and AI agents.
Achieve and maintain certifications in priority Cloud & AI Apps workloads.
Maintain deep technical expertise and stay current with market trends, competitive insights, and Microsoft’s evolving application and AI capabilities.
Demonstrate a growth mindset by continuously learning, contributing to technical communities, sharing best practices and mentoring others to accelerate customer outcomes.

Qualifications

Job Requirements

Required/Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field AND significant experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting OR equivalent experience.
Proven hands-on software development experience: you have designed, written and shipped production code (e.g. C#/.NET, Python, Java, TypeScript), with solid engineering fundamentals.
Experience with DevOps, CI/CD (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps) and infrastructure as code.
Customer-facing experience, with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work across multinational teams.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field AND significant experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field AND significant experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting OR equivalent experience.
Proven experience working in a customer-facing role (e.g., internal and/or external).
Proven experience leading technical projects.
Technical Certification in Cloud (e.g., Azure, GitHub, Amazon Web Services, Google, security certifications).
Practical experience of software development and/or solution architecture experience in enterprise environments.
Experience designing and delivering secure, scalable cloud-native and AI applications on Azure (e.g. Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, App Service, Container Apps, AKS, Functions, API Management).
Experience building AI agents and RAG solutions, and with GitHub Copilot and agentic DevOps.
Experience with Cosmos DB, Azure SQL or PostgreSQL.

Cloud Solution Architecture IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across Czechia is Kč 1,608,000.00 - Kč 3,683,000.00 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.

Cloud Solution Architecture IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across Slovakia is € 61,000.00 - € 156,500.00 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
