Cocktail Server

Join the team at Sun Valley Resort as a Cocktail Server, where you’ll provide exceptional beverage and food service in an elegant, fast-paced setting. You’ll create memorable guest experiences by offering personalized recommendations, delivering drinks and snacks with professionalism and care, and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment. This position is perfect for hospitality professionals with strong multitasking skills, a passion for service, and an eye for detail.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Interacting with customers by taking their orders, making recommendations, providing them with accurate bills, serving them food and drinks, processing payments, and supplying them with whatever they need in a timely manner.
• Handling multiple tables and tasks in an efficient manner.
• Cleaning and clearing tables. Assisting with opening and closing duties, such as preparing ingredients and restocking items, such as straws, napkins, etc.
• Learning about food and beverages, such as wine, beer, and cocktails.
• Taking inventory of supplies and ingredients.
• Checking identification to ensure customers are the proper age to purchase alcoholic beverages.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Previous customer service or serving experience preferred
• Ability to stand, walk, and move around the dining area for extended periods of time (up to 8+ hours).
• Ability to lift and carry heavy trays, food, and beverage orders.

• Can safely lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.

• Ability to bend, squat, and reach in order to serve guests and retrieve items from shelves or storage areas.
• Engage in physical activities like standing for long periods, walking, bend, squat, and reach in order to serve guests and retrieve items from shelves or storage areas and utilizing hands for tasks that involve gripping, handling, and reaching.
• Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment with high noise levels.
• Flexibility to work a varying schedule, including weekends, holidays, and early or late shifts
