About the role
COMPOUNDER – MIXING & BATCHING
Join the kdc/one Groveport Manufacturing Team
At kdc/one, our Compounders transform carefully measured ingredients into high-quality bulk beauty and personal care products. In this hands-on manufacturing role, you will operate mixing and batching equipment, monitor product quality, and help ensure every formula is produced safely and accurately.
Key Responsibilities
Stage and accurately measure raw materials for bulk product batches.
Operate batching tanks, mixers, and related equipment according to established specifications.
Perform visual quality checks and promptly report product or process concerns.
Clean and sanitize equipment in accordance with GMP and safety requirements.
Collect in-process samples for laboratory testing and make approved adjustments as needed.
Record production and inventory transactions accurately in SAP.
Partner with maintenance teams on equipment calibration and preventive upkeep.
Work safely in a fast-paced environment involving water, cleaning agents, chemicals, and industrial equipment.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED, with strong basic math and reading skills.
Previous experience in compounding, pre-weigh, processing, batching, or a related manufacturing role preferred.
Basic knowledge of GMP and OSHA requirements and proper PPE use.
Ability to lift up to 80 pounds and stand for extended periods.
Comfort working around hot water, cleaning agents, chemicals, and industrial equipment.
Strong attention to detail, teamwork, reliability, and commitment to quality.
Ideal candidates are safety-minded, precise, dependable, and comfortable working in a hands-on production environment.
