Overview

Lorien Columbia is looking to hire a Dietary Cook-Prep Cook to join our team. We are looking for a cheerful and enthusiastic cook who is eager to seek out new cooking methods/principles and incorporate them into existing dietary practices.

Responsibilities

Serve Safe Certification, a plus

Knowledge of Dietary procedures

Batch Cooking

Sanitation Knowledge

Proper Knife Skills

Integrity and a strong work ethic

Must be a team player with a strong work ethic and the willingness to help where and when it is needed

Cooking in a healthcare setting huge plus!

Qualifications

Full Time, Part Time and PRN Hours

Schedule: 5:30a-2p, 11:30a-8p

Every-other weekend availability (Saturday and Sunday)

Ability to safely lift, push, and pull up to 25–50 pounds as part of daily job responsibilities, with or without reasonable accomodation.
