POSITION: CTHCA Cook Senior (MB49661)

SALARY: $24.75-$25.37 per hour, DOE

REPORTS TO: Food Services Manager

LOCATION: CTCC, Nespelem, WA

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• High School Diploma or GED.
• One year Long Term Care cooking experience required.
• Food Handlers care within 5 days of employment is required.
• Knowledge of safe and proper food handling, storage, and disposal practices.
• Ability to read, write, and understand the English language.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.
• Ability to process diet changes and new diet orders as received the Nursing department.
• Must successfully clear a criminal history background inquiry with BCCU that indicates no felony or conviction on the DSHS Secretary’s List of Crimes and Negative Actions.

Note: Pursuant to Tribal Policy, if this position is safety sensitive it is subject to pre-employment drug testing. In addition, this position is subject to reasonable suspicion and post-accident drug testing.

If required of this position, you must possess and maintain a valid Washington State driver’s license and be eligible for the Tribes’ Vehicle Insurance. In addition, this position may be subject to pre-employment background clearances. If applicable, these clearances must be maintained throughout employment.
