Cook

We are seeking a skilled and passionate cook to join our team . As a cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality of food preparation and service. If you have a passion for culinary arts and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.

Duties:
- Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and standards
- Assist with meal preparation for catering events and special occasions
- Ensure food safety and sanitation practices are followed at all times
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
- Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth operations and timely service
- Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed

-Responsible for set-up of carts to be delivered to resident dining areas, if applicable.

-Display tact and friendliness when dealing with residents, families and visitors.

-Provide support to community’s marketing efforts through positive/friendly interaction during all property tours and telephone contact with the public, and as directed by a supervisor.

-Communicate any observed or suspected resident change of condition to a supervisor immediately.

-Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents and guests, following established safety standards.

Qualifications

Ability and Experience requirements:

• Must have previous experience as a cook in an institutional setting.
• Must have criminal record clearance.
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Education Requirements

• High school diploma is preferred.
