Courier Performance Specialist

As a Courier Performance Specialist, you will be at the operational heart of our local logistics team, acting as the vital link between daily courier reality and our global strategy. You are responsible for the hands-on optimization of the Courier Journey and the continuous improvement of courier performance across the country. In this role, you will report directly to the Courier Performance Lead. You are responsible for executing and enhancing the entire lifecycle experience of our couriers, ensuring that every step—from their first day to their last—is aligned with the frameworks and guidelines set by our central teams. You will collaborate closely with global internal stakeholders to implement new systems and standards locally, providing your expertise as a local market specialist to help refine global processes.

Role Purpose

The Courier Performance Specialist is the operational engine behind the courier lifecycle and performance. While the Lead sets the strategic roadmap, you are responsible for the execution and monitoring of tactical frameworks that drive courier behavior, efficiency, and engagement. You act as the primary interface between data insights and field-level impact, ensuring that every stage of the courier journey—from onboarding to offboarding—is optimized, compliant with local legislation, and aligned

with JET’s high-growth targets.

Core Responsibilities

• Tactical Execution of the Courier Lifecycle:
• Onboarding & Offboarding: Execute the localized "Courier Lifecycle Roadmap," ensuring a seamless transition for couriers at every stage.
• You identify and resolve friction points in the funnel to maximize speed-to-road and retention.
• Process Standardization: Implement standardized processes provided by the Scoober COEs to ensure scalability across all cities within the country.

Performance Monitoring:

• KPI Ownership: Monitor daily and weekly performance metrics of your fleet of couriers. You identify sub-regional trends and provide the Lead with actionable insights for the MBR/Operational Governance
• Disciplinary & Case Management: Handle complex (Tier 2 & 3) courier cases. You manage performance improvement plans and disciplinary actions, ensuring full alignment with local labor laws and internal documentation standards.
• Stakeholder Coordination - Act as the day-to-day point of contact for other departments (e.g. courier HR) to ensure administrative courier tasks are processed accurately.

What you bring to the table?

• Analytical Proficiency: Strong ability to interpret complex data sets and translate them into "Performance Stories." You don't just report numbers; you explain the why behind them.
• Operational Discipline: High attention to detail in managing disciplinary processes and legal documentation within a highly regulated labor environment.
• Behavioral Understanding: A keen interest in organizational psychology or behavioral economics to understand what motivates a decentralized workforce.
• Agility: The ability to pivot quickly between deep-dive data analysis and urgent "boots-on-the-ground" operational issues.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills in English and German, with the ability to handle difficult conversations with couriers or works councils professionally.
