About the role
We are seeking a friendly, professional, and dependable Counter Sales Representative / Service Advisor to join a busy automotive repair shop. This person will be the first point of contact for customers and will play an important role in providing a positive customer experience from the time they walk through the door.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and determine the reason for their visit
- Listen to customers and gather information about their vehicle concerns or service needs
- Create and write up service tickets/work orders
- Prepare and explain estimates to customers
- Communicate repair and service information clearly and professionally
- Enter and maintain customer and vehicle information in the computer system
- Answer phones and assist with customer questions
- Communicate with technicians regarding customer needs and repair status
- Keep customers updated throughout the service process
- Provide professional and friendly customer service
