Qualifications
Required
- Relevant hands-on cabling or fiber experience, or verified internship, technical-school, or college training supported by assessed practical work.
- Ability to read installation drawings and cable schedules, use approved tools, maintain cable and port identity, and document work accurately.
- Demonstrated competence for each assigned termination, splicing, copper certification, OLTS, or OTDR method; perform unqualified tasks only under approved supervision.
- Complete assigned TWS knowledge checks, capstone, and applicable FOA, OEM, and Network+ credential requirements or approved equivalents before the relevant independent assignment.
- Current CPR/First Aid, required Level 1/site safety training, electrical safety and affected-person LOTO awareness, and separate site and task authorization.
- Ability to travel extensively and complete client-required background screening, drug testing, and site onboarding.
Preferred
- Data center, telecommunications, low-voltage, or structured cabling installation experience.
