The Decisioning team helps clients understand campaign effectiveness and make better decisions across channels, using techniques from marketing testing to econometric modelling.
Purpose of the Role
As Data Science Manager, you'll specialise in measuring incrementality through either Marketing Mix Modelling (MMM) or incrementality experiments, helping clients understand the impact of marketing on business outcomes. You can bring depth in either area — you don't need experience in both.
You'll join a team that takes statistical robustness seriously and values the ability to explain complex analysis simply. Working with cross-functional teams, you'll develop measurement methodologies, analyse results and turn your findings into actionable recommendations.
· Independently build marketing mix models or design and analyse incrementality experiments, depending on your specialism.
· Deliver marketing effectiveness projects across our services, including MMM, attribution reporting, experimentation, incrementality testing and bespoke media analytics.
· Act as the client lead for small to medium-sized projects, ensuring high-quality delivery.
· Keep internal and external stakeholders informed through clear, effective communication.
· Create and present compelling stories from your analysis, explaining what the findings mean for marketing and business decisions.
· Create measurement frameworks and strategies that bring different analytical approaches together.
· Work with cross-functional teams to develop statistically robust methodologies and actionable insights.
Qualifications & Skills
· Experience delivering marketing effectiveness analytics independently, specialising in MMM or incrementality experiments, with hands-on use of analytical software.
· Core statistical knowledge and an understanding of how to apply it to robust models or experiments.
· An understanding of the requirements, limitations and value of MMM, attribution, experimentation and incrementality testing, and how they work together in a holistic measurement framework.
· A strong understanding of marketing theory and how marketing contributes to business success.
· The ability to explain complex analysis simply, communicate with clients and stakeholders, and guide and train junior colleagues.
· Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
