Bayshore Medical Personnel is seeking a part-time Dental Assistant with a minimum of 6 months within the last 2 years of cumulative clinical experience to provide services to our federal client in Warkworth, ON.
Hourly Compensation Range: $45-50.
TASKS
- Prepare the treatment area, cleans and sterilizes instruments, assist chairside, prepare restorative materials
- Records data as directed
- Give oral health education
- Assessing emergency situations, being aware of, and able to implement, emergency protocols, being able to provide First Aid and CPR
- Conducting spore/biological indicator tests
- Obtaining vital signs
- Monitor supplies
QUALIFICATIONS
The Dental Assistant must possess:
- A license by the appropriate governing body for the province where services will be provided.
- Minimum of six (6) months experience as a dental assistant providing intra-oral care within the last two (2) years.
