About the role
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Desenvolvedor Back .NET ESPECIALISTA based in Brazil.
We are looking for an experienced backend development specialist to design and implement high-quality, scalable, resilient, and secure software solutions. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in C# and the .NET ecosystem to shape software architecture and drive technical excellence. You will make critical architectural decisions, balancing performance, maintainability, security, and long-term flexibility. Working with modern development practices, you will contribute to microservices architectures, automated testing, and reliable system integrations. You will also ensure that technical decisions are clearly documented and aligned with business objectives. This is an opportunity to solve complex engineering challenges, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to robust solutions in a dynamic, innovation-driven environment.
Accountabilities
-
Software architecture and solution design: Design and implement scalable, resilient, and secure software architectures, selecting appropriate patterns such as microservices and message queues based on business and technical requirements.
-
Scalability and resilience: Define strategies to handle increasing workloads, prevent service disruptions, and implement fault-tolerance mechanisms, including ensuring the availability of the transaction-control service when the daily consolidation process fails.
-
Integration and communication: Define communication protocols, data formats, component interactions, and integration tools to ensure reliable information exchange between system components.
-
Security implementation: Implement authentication, authorization, encryption, and protective mechanisms such as Web Application Firewalls (WAF) to safeguard applications and data.
-
Backend development: Develop and maintain backend solutions using C# and .NET, following SOLID principles, Clean Code practices, design patterns, and software engineering standards.
-
Code quality and testing: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code; develop automated unit and integration tests; and ensure adequate test coverage and compliance with technical and business requirements.
-
Architecture documentation: Produce clear technical documentation, architecture diagrams, data-flow descriptions, and setup instructions, including comprehensive README files explaining how applications work and run locally.
-
Technical decision-making: Evaluate architectural alternatives, document trade-offs, justify technical choices, and identify opportunities for future improvements and system expansion.
-
Development automation and infrastructure: Support local development environments using Docker and Docker Compose, contribute to automated CI/CD pipelines, and apply Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices where appropriate.
-
Cost and performance considerations: Evaluate implementation alternatives and contribute to cost estimates, balancing infrastructure requirements, performance, scalability, and maintainability.
-
Collaboration and continuous improvement: Work closely with technical and business stakeholders, communicate complex concepts clearly, and promote continuous learning, adaptability, and collaborative problem-solving.
-
Proven professional experience designing and implementing scalable, resilient, and secure software architectures.
-
Strong hands-on development experience with C# and the .NET ecosystem.
-
Deep understanding of software design principles, including SOLID, Clean Code, and established design patterns.
-
Experience designing and implementing architectural solutions involving microservices, message queues, and distributed components.
-
Practical experience developing automated tests, including unit and integration testing, with familiarity with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and
