Design Senior Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Engineering & Design:

• Support the preparation of base and detailed design for HV Overhead Transmission Lines (OHTL).
• Analyze design specifications, technical drawings, and client requirements to ensure alignment with project needs.
• Contribute to the development and validation of engineering design deliverables.

Bill of Materials & Technical Analysis:

• Prepare and review Bills of Materials (BOM) based on preliminary designs and client requirements.
• Develop technical clarifications and respond to client queries as needed.

Software & Modeling:

• Perform power system modeling using specialized software such as:
  • PLS-CADD
  • ETAP
• Ensure accurate modelling and analysis to support engineering decisions.

Collaboration & Coordination:

• Collaborate closely with the design team to ensure consistency and quality of outputs.
• Support internal coordination to meet engineering and project requirements.

• 5–7 years of experience in a similar field, with a focus on OHTL Engineering.
• Hands-on experience in HV Overhead Transmission Line projects is required.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in:
  • PLS-CADD
  • ETAP or similar power system modeling tools
• Good understanding of:
  • OHTL design principles
  • Base and detailed design processes
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.

Languages:

• Good command of English (written and spoken).

Experience:

• 5–7 years of experience in a similar field, with a focus on OHTL Engineering.
