Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Student, PRN

1. Education: Enrolled in or graduate of an accredited ultrasound program or appropriate training in cardiac sonography.

2. Training and Experience: Enrolled in or graduate of ultrasound program and registry eligible per ARDMS or CCI requirements. BLS required. ACLS preferred but not required.

3. Job Knowledge: Delivers appropriate care to patients from neonatal through geriatrics with regards to age specific considerations. Must be able to communicate effectively with physicians, associates, patients, and visitors.

4. Safety Sensitive: YES

DESCRIPTION:

A student or registry eligible sonographer who is responsible for cardiac ultrasounds in any area of the hospital including special care units.

Must be willing to learn cardiovascular procedures as required.
