Dietary Aide

Ridgeview Rehabilitation is looking for an experienced Dietary Aide to join the long-term care unit at our beautiful skilled nursing facility. Ridgeview Rehabilitation is committed to providing high quality services so that every resident receives the care and attention that they need. Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in daily or scheduled cleaning duties in accordance with established facility policies and procedures
• Carry out garbage and keep work areas clean, dry and free of hazardous equipment, supplies, etc.
• Carry soiled utensils, etc., to wash area
• Remove food trays from carts, dining rooms, etc., and take to dishwashing area
• Deliver food carts, trays, etc., to designated areas
• Serve food in dining room
• Prepare and deliver snacks, etc.
• Assist in serving meals on a timely basis
• Distribute and collect menus
• Set up meal trays, food carts, dining room, etc.
• Return clean utensils to proper storage areas
• Assist in checking diet trays before distribution
• Assist in food preparation for special meals and events
• Dispose of food and waste in accordance with established facility policies
• Follow established infection prevention and control policies and procedures when completing daily tasks
• Always follow safety regulations and precautions

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year’s work in a large-scale cooking operation, preferred.
