About the role
Touchmark at Georgetown, Central Texas’ leading full-service retirement community, is looking for caring, friendly, and dependable individuals to join our Dining Services team as Servers.
Whether you are looking for your first job, hoping to pick up a few extra hours, or wanting to bring your customer service skills to a meaningful environment, we invite you to apply and become part of a team that makes a difference every day.
As a Dining Room Server, you will help create a welcoming and enjoyable dining experience for Touchmark residents and guests. In this role, you will greet residents by name, take meal orders, answer questions about the menu, serve meals and beverages, and help ensure the dining room remains clean, attractive, and running smoothly. You may also assist with special events and catered functions throughout the community.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, providing excellent service, and being part of a positive team environment.
Full-time and part-time opportunities are available, with current openings focused on evening and weekend shifts.
We will provide you with:
Thorough training to help you be successful
Flexible scheduling options
A supportive and uplifting work environment
Opportunities to grow, learn, and build your skills
No prior serving experience is required, but you must:
Have a commitment to Touchmark’s values of excellence, teamwork, hospitality, integrity, and compassion
Enjoy working with older adults and providing friendly, respectful service
Be willing to work occasional weekends and holidays
Be able to lift and carry trays of food and beverages
Be comfortable standing and walking for extended periods of time
Be able to read, write, and speak English
Be able to remain patient, professional, and tactful when interacting with residents, family members, team members, and visitors
If you are friendly, dependable, and enjoy making people feel welcome, we would love to meet you.
