Description
Flexible, part-time DSP position providing mentorship, guidance, and companionship to a pleasant 41-year-old man with developmental disabilities who lives independently in the Greater Manchester area.
As his Direct Support Staff, you'll be helping and encouraging with daily activities such as grocery shopping, light housework, YMCA workouts, transportation and community activities such as Special Olympics and self-advocacy groups. No lifting or hands-on personal care is required.
Budget allows for 8 hours a week at $19.80/hr.
Must enjoy dogs because you'll get the extra benefit of spending time with his certified and super friendly therapy dog.
The eight hours can be worked over two or three days on Monday, Thursday, Saturday, or Sunday. You will coordinate with a supportive, appreciative family.
A valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and insurance are required; mileage is reimbursed.
