About the role
Overview
The Director, Corporate Brand leads the strategy, positioning, identity, messaging, governance, and corporate social media presence of Dental Care Alliance (DCA). The role is responsible for making DCA’s enterprise story clear, credible, distinctive, and consistent across audiences and corporate touchpoints. Reporting to the Vice President, Brand & Patient Engagement, this leader translates business strategy into a disciplined brand platform, a well-managed corporate Brand Guide, high-quality communications assets, and measurable improvements in corporate brand effectiveness. This is a hands-on strategic leadership role requiring excellent brand judgment, strong writing and creative direction, rigorous execution, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders and agency partners. The focus is the DCA corporate brand, not consumer marketing or brand management for individual affiliated dental practices.
Responsibilities
Own and evolve DCA’s corporate brand positioning, value proposition, messaging architecture, voice, and visual identity in alignment with enterprise strategy and leadership priorities. 2. Own, maintain, and evolve DCA’s official Corporate Brand Guide and brand guidelines, including logo and identity usage, typography, colors, voice and tone, messaging standards, templates, and corporate brand applications. Manage version control, access, updates, adoption, and appropriate approval of exceptions. 3. Maintain an organized, current library of approved corporate brand assets and templates; establish practical review processes, train corporate stakeholders and partners on standards, and monitor compliance across corporate applications. 4. Lead periodic corporate brand audits to identify inconsistent or outdated use of the DCA name, identity, messaging, or creative assets and coordinate remediation with asset owners. 5. Lead the corporate brand narrative, visual and messaging standards, and content quality of DCA’s corporate website, including core pages and leadership profiles, in partnership with the digital/web team and subject-matter owners. Coordinate website publishing ownership and approvals with the appropriate teams. 6. Own DCA’s official corporate social media presence, including corporate Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and any other approved DCA corporate profiles. Lead channel strategy, editorial priorities, content planning, publishing governance, and brand consistency. 7. Coordinate corporate social content creation, scheduling, moderation, community responses, and performance reporting with the organic social and community engagement team and external partners, with clear assignment of day-to-day execution.
Maintain appropriate access controls, administrator permissions, account inventories, publishing approvals, and escalation procedures for corporate social media channels in partnership with IT, Compliance, and relevant stakeholders. 9. Monitor channel performance and brand-related feedback; elevate sensitive complaints, potential patient privacy issues, clinical matters, and reputational risks promptly to the VP and appropriate owners. 10. Partner with HR/Talent Acquisition on corporate LinkedIn content where employer messaging overlaps, while excluding ownership of recruiting-specific profiles, platforms, and review pages such as Indeed and Glassdoor. 11. Provide brand strategy, content direction, creative briefs, and quality assurance for major corporate initiatives, leadership presentations, acquisition-related corporate materials, and enterprise announcements. 12. Coordinate with the VP and PR/external communications stakeholders so messaging, executive visibility, media materials, and reputation-sensitive communications reflect the approved corporate brand platform. 13. Partner with HR/Talent Acquisition and provider leadership to ensure alignment of DCA corporate-brand standards with employer and provider recruitment messaging, without owning recruiting operations, employer-brand strategy, or recruiting-specific platforms. 14. Manage corporate brand workstreams, agencies, designers, writers, budgets, timelines, and deliverables; balance agency support with efficient internal execution. 15. Establish and report meaningful corporate brand and corporate social media measures, such as brand consistency, content quality, priority-audience engagement, relevant corporate site traffic, and progress against defined communications goals. Use stakeholder feedback and agreed business indicators to guide improvement; avoid treating reach and engagement alone as business impact.

02 Brand Governance Maintains the corporate Brand Guide and holds internal teams and agencies to consistent standards.
03 Writing & Creative Direction Produces and directs executive-quality copy, presentations, and creative assets.
04 Stakeholder Influence Guides senior leaders and partners toward on-brand decisions without relying on formal authority.
05 Impact Measurement Distinguishes brand activity from measurable business impact when reporting results.
