Position Overview
LearnWell is seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Virtual Academics to lead our growing virtual education division. This leader will oversee academic operations, staff performance, client relationships, and financial performance across a portfolio of virtual educational programs.
The ideal candidate is a collaborative and strategic leader with a proven track record of developing high-performing teams, driving operational excellence, managing complex staffing needs, and maintaining exceptional client satisfaction. This individual will be adaptable, resourceful, and skilled at navigating a fast-paced environment while fostering a culture of accountability, growth, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities

Provide strategic leadership for approximately 30 hospital accounts, oversee a nationwide team of virtual educators and 2-3 direct reports, ensuring exceptional educational service delivery and team performance.

Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management to team members, supporting professional growth and operational excellence.

Conduct regular meetings with direct reports to ensure accountability, alignment, and successful execution of departmental goals.

Partner closely with Human Resources and Operations teams to maintain appropriate staffing levels across virtual one-to-one tutoring services and virtual classroom programs.

Build and maintain strong relationships with hospital and school district partners, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and service quality.

Monitor account performance, conduct financial analysis, and drive achievement of revenue and profitability goals.

Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and applicable educational standards.

Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic initiatives and organizational objectives.

Foster a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and employee engagement.
Compensation & Benefits: $70,000 - $75,000 annually + bonus opportunity. LearnWell offers a generous benefits and paid time off package.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.

Minimum of 5 years of operations management or comparable leadership experience.

Strong financial, analytical, and organizational skills.

Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, work effectively under pressure, and maintain attention to detail.

Exceptional communication, leadership, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills.

Proven track record of successfully leading and developing remote or virtual teams
