About the role

Summary

This position integrates an experienced procurement executive into our organization, leveraging their deep operational background to build immediate credibility with leadership teams. Procurement executives place greater trust in peers who have successfully managed the function than in those solely focused on software sales. Reporting directly to the Founder and CEO, this full-time role is based in the United States and may initially commence through a part-time advisory engagement before transitioning to a permanent capacity at Spendflo Inc.

Responsibilities

  • Provide peer-level strategic guidance to procurement and finance executives on restructuring their operating models to integrate AI agents, while collaborating with Account Executives during high-level buyer discussions (35% of time).
  • Manage the initial customer advocacy initiative, which includes coordinating reference calls, developing case studies, and securing speaking opportunities at industry conferences (25% of time).
  • Oversee customer success strategies for the inaugural US market deployments, collaborating closely with the Forward Deployed Engineer (20% of time).
  • Cultivate and grow a professional network of procurement practitioners centered around the Flo platform (10% of time).
  • Synthesize feedback from buyers to inform product positioning and prioritize future development initiatives (10% of time).
Requirements
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in procurement or shared services, holding a director-level position or higher within a US-based organization featuring a centralized procurement department.
  • Proven track record of leading end-to-end technology rollouts for procure-to-pay, sourcing, or contract management solutions, spanning from vendor selection through to full organizational adoption.
  • Demonstrated influence within the procurement sector, evidenced by public speaking engagements, industry awards, or an active network of professional peers.
  • Possession of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

First 12 Months

  • Secure five verifiable customer references and publish three detailed case studies.
  • Achieve all defined adoption milestones for the initial live deployments.
