Pay Range

USD $142,128.00 - USD $177,660.00 /Yr.

STAR Bonus % (At Risk Maximum)

Navitus Health Solutions is seeking a Director, Software Development to join our team!

The Director, Software Development will lead software development and deliver quality results for our organization. The Director, Software Development is responsible for providing overall leadership and direction for the software development team, which is evolving legacy applications into modern, supportable applications. This leader will be proficient in Agile practices as they will be collaborating to achieve an outstanding customer experience, resulting in positive, on-time and within budget organizational outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Deep focus on execution, follow-through, accountability, and results.
• Foster a passion for people leadership rooted in helping your team do their best work, hiring, and performance mentoring.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and leaders from Agile Delivery, Enterprise Architecture, Infrastructure and the Navitus Enterprise Project Management Office.
• Build strong relationships with the application business owners to deliver software that meets our internal and external customers’ needs.
• Manage and develop a team of managers responsible for software development.
• Develop and maintain an accountable department that delivers high-quality code.
• Stay current with modern software development technology, including Artificial Intelligence, to establish and evolve the software development strategy.
• Establish and deliver KPI’s and metrics for managing and reporting performance.
• Communicate the progress and status of all development teams to a diverse set of technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

What our team expects from you?

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or other relevant technical field of study, or equivalent work experience, required.
• 10+ years of IT Management experience, including direct leadership of software development teams, required.
• Experience with modern technologies, architectures, and agile development methods.
• Experience with cloud first development and microservice architectures or strategies.
• Experience using Artificial Intelligence tools to make development organizations more efficient and accurate in their delivery.
• Experience with .NET, SQL, Angular, Oracle, React, etc.
• Experience with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, etc.
• Experience managing and applying agile methodologies.
• Experience with projects requiring the development of advanced automation testing frameworks and various performance testing methodologies.
• Experience managing measurable success in delivering quality software that meets the business needs using agile methodologies.
• Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives.
• The ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees.
