Dirt/Grading Superintendent

We are seeking an experienced Dirt / Grading Superintendent to lead earthwork and grading operations on heavy civil construction projects. This position is responsible for coordinating Foremen, crews, equipment, trucking, and daily production while ensuring work meets project plans, specifications, schedules, quality standards, and safety expectations.

Qualifications

Ideal candidates will have:

• Extensive heavy civil earthwork and grading experience
• Previous Superintendent, General Foreman, or Dirt Foreman experience
• Strong knowledge of mass excavation, cut/fill, compaction, subgrade, and fine grading
• Strong plan, cross-section, elevation, and grade-reading skills
• Experience with GPS/machine-control grading systems
• Strong knowledge of heavy equipment and earthwork production
• Proven ability to manage multiple crews and Foremen
• Strong planning, communication, and leadership skills
