About the role
Objective of job
Represent EEA R&D in the overall vehicle program team, responsible for steering design review, technical validation, architecture integration and industrialization within committed time, quality and cost targets. Act as the technical project owner for internal & cross-regional stakeholders, manage EEA design/develop timeline/gates, drive cross-domain collaboration (Powertrain, Chassis, ADAS, Infotainment, Body & Comfort), resolve EEA architecture & integration bottlenecks, and ensure on-time, high-quality, cost-controlled delivery aligned with vehicle program milestones.
Main tasks
- Own full lifecycle technical management of EEA development: requirement decomposition, EEA system specification, architecture design review, network & power distribution design, domain/central computer integration, system-level validation, prototype testing, pre-production trial and SOP enablement.
- Break down vehicle platform & China-specific EEA requirements, build technical work breakdown structure, define clear technical milestones, track execution progress, manage requirement/architecture change and conduct full impact assessment across domains.
- Lead troubleshooting of critical EEA technical issues covering architecture definition, network communication, power mode management, SOA service deployment, FuSa & cybersecurity, bench testing, vehicle integration and mass production ramp-up.
- Organize regular EEA technical syncs, architecture reviews, risk assessment workshops, track technical risks, define mitigation plans and drive closure.
- Capture project lessons learned, refine EEA development workflows, architecture governance rules and reusable technical assets for future vehicle platforms.
- Periodically report EEA development status, technical risks and milestone performance to management; proactively escalate blocking issues for decision support.
