Elementary Exploratory Teacher (PT)

GMC Prep School announces an opening for a Part-Time Exploratory Teacher-K-5 Leadership Class for the 2026-27 school year. Georgia Military College Prep School is a K-12th grade public, independent, military, college-preparatory school with a mission to develop the intellect and elevate the character of the 900+ students we serve.

The Part-Time Exploratory Teacher-K-5 Leadership Class is responsible for planning and delivering the Elementary Leadership Class program. The teacher will work closely with the Leadership Class Teacher to ensure consistency with the program goals, instructional expectations, and lesson delivery.

This position is for a part-time position. The position focuses on developing students’ leadership skills, character, responsibility, communication, collaboration, and decision-making abilities through age-appropriate experiences. In addition, the position requires the ability to independently lead classes, create lesson plans, facilitate student discussions, and foster a positive learning environment.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirement -- Applicants must hold a valid clear renewable Georgia teaching certificate.

Preferences – At least 5 years experience in elementary classroom
