We are looking for an experienced Senior Director of Marketing to lead marketing for Invoice Simple, our established, global, mobile-first B2B SaaS platform that helps small businesses and independent service professionals create estimates, send invoices, and get paid faster across Web, iOS, and Android.
In this role, you'll set the strategic and growth vision for Invoice Simple marketing across customer acquisition, brand, product marketing, lifecycle, and go-to-market strategy. You will be responsible for scaling an established subscription business, unlocking international growth opportunities, and accelerating monetization through subscriptions and embedded payments.
You'll partner closely with Invoice Simple's GM, Head of PLG Growth, Product, Payments, Data, and central Marketing teams to ensure marketing investment translates into measurable customer and revenue growth.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement cohesive marketing and go-to-market strategies that accelerate growth for Invoice Simple, a global, mobile-first, multi-platform (Web/iOS/Android) product-led growth business.
- Own customer acquisition strategy and performance across paid and organic channels, including traffic, app installs, signups, trial conversion, paid subscriptions, customer quality, acquisition efficiency, and revenue growth. Drive performance at both the channel and platform level, with particular emphasis on mobile acquisition and subscription economics.
- Lead Invoice Simple's international marketing growth strategy, identifying and prioritizing geographic expansion opportunities, developing localized acquisition and conversion strategies, and partnering with Product and cross-functional teams to improve market readiness and unit economics.
- Own Invoice Simple's brand and product marketing strategy, including positioning, messaging, competitive differentiation, category narrative, customer insights, launch strategy, and go-to-market enablement. Strengthen Invoice Simple's visibility across traditional and emerging discovery channels, including AI-powered search and answer engines.
- Drive go-to-market strategy for Invoice Simple's critical product and monetization initiatives, with particular emphasis on embedded payments, subscription value, pricing and packaging, and customer expansion. Partner with Product, Payments, Growth, and central Marketing to connect product innovation with adoption, conversion, and revenue outcomes.
- Partner closely with the Head of PLG Growth, Product, Data, and Support to connect acquisition, onboarding, conversion, engagement, and retention into one coordinated growth system. Identify and remove friction across the customer journey and own the marketing components of the PLG roadmap, including lifecycle engagement, experimentation, and pricing and packaging inputs.
- Develop and lead lifecycle marketing strategy across onboarding, trial-to-paid conversion, engagement, monetization, retention, and reactivation. Drive increased customer lifetime value through stronger product adoption, subscription engagement, and cross-sell opportunities, including payments adoption.
- Build and scale a rigorous marketing experimentation and measurement culture, including A/B testing, app store experimentation, funnel optimization, incrementality testing, attribution, and other approaches that improve decision-making across acquisition, lifecycle, and monetization.
- Lead and develop the Invoice Simple marketing team across growth marketing, product marketing, and the full customer lifecycle, while partnering effectively with EverPro's central Marketing organization across paid, organic, web, content, design, and brand expertise. This role owns Invoice Simple's marketing strategy, prioritization, and outcomes, while central Marketing provides specialist execution and channel expertise.
- Coordinate closely with Invoice Simple's GM, Head of PLG Growth, Product, Payments, Data, and central Marketing; concisely analyze, report, and present customer acquisition, funnel, retention, and revenue performance weekly, monthly, and quarterly.
- Accountable for delivery of integrated growth and customer marketing programs for prospects and existing customers, including digital acquisition, app store optimization, email, in-app engagement, cross-sell, partnerships, and other scalable channels.
- Measure marketing effectiveness and manage budget allocation with a rigorous focus on new customer growth, recurring revenue, customer lifetime value, CAC efficiency, payback, and incremental return on marketing investment across channels, platforms, and geographies.
