Fabrication Support (A Shift)

Pay: $18.00 to $25.48 per hour
Location: Alexandra, MN
Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Wednesday, 6:30am-6:30pm Thursday, 6:30am-12:30pm

About the job

We are hiring a Production Operator to support our Fabrication team by operating equipment that modifies aluminum parts to customer specifications. You will set up and run manufacturing equipment, inspect parts for quality, and package finished products for shipment. The work you do helps ensure customers receive accurate, high-quality products on time. As a Production Operator, you will work in a manufacturing environment where safety and quality are priorities.

What a Production Operator does

• Set up and operate fabrication equipment to safely produce aluminum parts that meet customer specifications.
• Review work orders, inspect parts, and verify quality requirements using inspection tools.
• Package finished products according to customer requirements and production schedules.
• Perform basic machine maintenance and keep equipment and work areas clean and organized.
• Follow safety procedures and identify opportunities to improve quality, efficiency, and production processes.

Required

• Basic computer skills.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to read blueprints and inspect parts to customer specifications.
• Ability to use inspection equipment and identify product defects.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work around manufacturing equipment, loud noise, dust, fumes, and moving mechanical parts.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds (items over 40 pounds require a team lift or crane) and perform frequent standing, walking, and repetitive motions.

Preferred (not required)

• Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience.
• Experience using measurement or inspection tools.
• Experience reading manufacturing documents or work orders.
