- Preventive and corrective maintenance: Perform maintenance to minimize downtime and improve reliability. Conduct daily walkthroughs and inspections to support efficient facility operations.
- Equipment ownership and documentation: Perform inspections, calibrations, and verifications, and maintain accurate documentation in SAP.
- Troubleshooting: Lead or participate in resolving routine and moderately complex facility-related issues in accordance with applicable SOPs, codes, standards, and site safety requirements.

- Inventory and purchasing: Develop, maintain, and secure spare parts and basic maintenance hand and power tool inventories. Procure materials, tools, parts, and supplies for building maintenance and projects, and recommend purchases that streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Safety and compliance: Support EH&S, environmental, quality, life-critical standards, lockout/tagout, safe work permitting, electrical safety, and other compliance requirements. Promote a strong safety culture.
- Continuous improvement: Identify and implement improvements that enhance performance, efficiency, sustainability, and equipment reliability. Assist engineers in developing methods and procedures to control or improve facility processes.
- Leadership and Scope: The HVAC Technician serves as a lead technical resource, coordinating and facilitating the work of others without direct supervisory responsibility. The technician works independently on complex problems, shares technical knowledge, supports training, and contributes to continuous improvement across the facility.
