Overview

Bassett Healthcare Network, a progressive, academic health system in Central New York and a major teaching affiliate of Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons, is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the department of Family Medicine.

• Salary Range: $320,000-$347,000
• Sign-on Bonus: up to $100,000
• Location: Delhi, NY

Job Description & Responsibilities

• Delhi Health Center is a (NYS) Patient-Centered Medical Home recognized through the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA). The NCQA Patient-Centered Medical Home standards emphasize the use of systematic, patient-centered, coordinated care that supports access, communication, and patient involvement
• Join a highly collaborative network and established family medicine practice
• Practice within Bassett Healthcare Network, an integrated system delivering care across an 8-county region
• Become a part of Bassett Healthcare Network, a progressive academic health system and major teaching affiliate of Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons
• Full spectrum case mix and diverse patient population
• No OB
• Loan Repayment may be available through Federal and State programs

• Primary Care office is adjacent to affiliate hospital, O’Connor Hospital

Requirements

• MD, DO or MBBS
• BC/BE in Family Medicine
• Completion of an accredited USA Family Medicine residency
• New York medical license (or eligibility to obtain)
• BLS/ACLS Certification Required
• DEA Required

Compensation

• Salary Range: $320,000 - $347,000.

• This compensation range represents Bassett Healthcare’s good faith belief of the compensation range at the time of this posting or advertisement. Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards
• Sign-on bonus up to $100,000
• Residency stipend up to $45,000 available up to 18 months prior to graduation.

• A geography stipend of $25,000 for physicians who practice primary care full time in Delaware County (Delhi).

• Bassett offers Physicians an incentive plan with no earnings cap. Individual performance and productivity can significantly enhance compensation with potential upside realized within the first year of employment.
