Company: Visionix USA
Are you the person everyone calls when equipment stops working and they need someone who can figure out why?
Do you enjoy solving technical challenges, working with your hands, and helping customers get back up and running? Are you ready for a role that gets you out in the field instead of behind a desk?
Visionix USA is looking for a Field Service Representative to support advanced medical and ophthalmic equipment throughout Pennsylvania, Ohio and surrounding areas, and occasionally other areas of the United States.
Requirements
You'll work with advanced medical and ophthalmic equipment used by eye care professionals — installing, repairing, maintaining and troubleshooting equipment in the field.
What You'll Do
· Install, repair, and maintain medical and ophthalmic equipment.
· Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
· Perform preventive maintenance and equipment inspections.
· Work directly with customers to resolve technical issues.
· Manage parts, tools, and service inventory.
· Document service activities and maintain accurate service records.
· Travel extensively throughout your assigned territory, with occasional nationwide travel.
What We're Looking For
We’re seeking a technically skilled, hands-on problem solver with a strong background in field service and equipment troubleshooting.
Required Qualifications
· 6–10 years of field service experience.
· Minimum of 5 years of hands-on biomedical equipment experience.
· Minimum of 5 years of experience servicing, maintaining, or repairing medical devices.
Related Experience That Can Be Valuable
· Industrial equipment service and repair.
· Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.
· Military technical or equipment maintenance experience.
· Technical support and customer-facing service roles.
No ophthalmic experience? No problem.
We'll provide training on our equipment and technology. What matters most is that you know how to troubleshoot, learn quickly, communicate with customers, and take ownership of the job.
Why Join Visionix?
Build a specialized technical career in medical technology while working with sophisticated equipment that supports eye care professionals.
You'll enjoy the independence of a home-based field role, opportunities to expand your technical expertise, and the support of an experienced team.
Compensation & Benefits
· Competitive base salary
· 401(k) retirement plan
· Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance
· Paid Time Off (PTO)
How to Apply
If you are a technically minded, customer-focused professional who enjoys troubleshooting equipment and working independently, we encourage you to apply!
